Things you need to know is where they spend their time online, and what drives them to act in a personal and a business perspective. The next thing you learn as you research your niche market online is that you can reasonable amount for your product or service. The best and most effective was to do is visit the sites that advertise products or services similar to what they have chosen to sell. It should be easy to see if they are far from providing a service or selling the product at a price much lower than it would have to charge.

If you can determine that there are people out there who are willing to spend money to buy what they sell and can identify these individuals then you have a niche marketing of products or services that can make money on the Internet. Sometimes you have to harvest your product or service to make it more attractive, better or just different from what others are selling. Research is the key to niche marketing success.
